A tragic incident in Kerala has claimed the life of an 11-year-old boy. Dhwanith, a sixth-grade student from Vallikkunnu, Malappuram, passed away after his shirt collar got caught on a nail protruding from the wall in his bedroom.

The incident occurred on Friday evening after Dhwanith returned home from school. According to reports, the collar of his shirt became entangled on a nail that was fixed to the wall inside his room. The entanglement tightened around his neck, leading to শ্বাসরোধ.

Hearing the boy's cries, his father, Manikandan, who was outside the house, rushed inside and found him caught on the nail. The father immediately sought help from a neighbor and took Dhwanith to a private hospital in Tirur. After প্রাথমিক treatment, he was shifted to a private hospital in Kozhikode and later to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital for specialized care.

Despite the best efforts of the medical professionals, Dhwanith's condition did not improve, and he passed away on Saturday evening. The young boy's death has cast a pall of gloom over his family and the local community.

Dhwanith was a student of Niramaruthur Government UP School. His father, Manikandan, works as a lottery seller, and his mother is Divya. He is also survived by his brother, Darsh. After a post-mortem examination, his mortal remains were cremated at the Tirur Pottilathara crematorium.
