Shefali Jariwala, best known for her "Kaanta Laga" music video and her participation in Bigg Boss 13, has died at the age of 42. The actress reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest late on June 27. Her husband, Parag Tyagi, rushed her to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai, where she was declared dead.

The news of her sudden demise has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry and left fans heartbroken. Tributes have been pouring in from friends and celebrities.

According to a staff member at Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital, Shefali had already passed away when she was brought in. Her body was then transferred to Cooper Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The Assistant Medical Officer (AMO) at Cooper Hospital stated that the exact cause of death will be confirmed after the post-mortem report is released.

In the wake of the tragic event, journalist Vickey Lalwani confirmed that Shefali was brought dead to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital. A security guard at Shefali's residence, Shatrughan, told NDTV that Shefali was taken to the hospital around 10:30 PM on June 27. He also mentioned seeing Shefali and Parag in the society compound with their dog just the evening before.

Shefali Jariwala gained stardom after appearing in the "Kaanta Laga" song in 2002, which became a pop culture sensation. She later became a household name with her participation in Bigg Boss 13, where her confidence and clarity stood out.

An old interview of Shefali has resurfaced, in which she spoke about her long battle with epilepsy and how it affected her career. She revealed that she was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 15 and was under tremendous pressure to do well in her studies at the time.

Parag Tyagi was seen leaving Cooper Hospital late on June 28, looking devastated. Photos and videos of him have emerged online, with fans expressing their sadness. Police teams and forensic units arrived at Shefali's residence following the news.

Shefali Jariwala was known as the "Kaanta Laga girl" and had a significant social media presence with over 3 million followers on Instagram. Her sudden passing is a great loss to the entertainment industry, and she will be dearly missed by her fans and colleagues.
