The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme is a central sector scheme that provides income support to landholding farmer families in India. Important Updates
- e-KYC is mandatory: To receive the 20th installment, farmers must ensure their e-KYC is completed. The government has made it clear that no installment will be credited to accounts without e-KYC verification. Farmers can complete e-KYC by visiting their nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) or through the PM-KISAN online portal using their Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
- Aadhaar Seeding: Beneficiaries must ensure their names match Aadhaar records to avoid payment delays. The government facilitates name corrections through face authentication via the PM-Kisan Mobile App or bio-authentication at CSC centers.
- Bank Details: Update your bank details to avoid delays. Check that the bank account details are correct and updated. Accounts are often debited due to wrong IFSC codes, closure of accounts, or accounts not linked with Aadhaar.
- Contact Information: In case of any queries or issues, you can contact the PM-Kisan Helpline at 155261 / 011-24300606.
