The Indian Women's cricket team is on the verge of clinching a historic T20I series victory against England as they head into the third T20I at Kennington Oval in London on Friday, July 4, 2025. Having secured a 2-0 lead in the five-match series, the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side is just one win away from their first-ever T20I series win against England.

The third T20I between India Women and England Women will be played at Kennington Oval, London. The match is scheduled to begin at 11:05 PM IST, with the toss taking place at 10:35 PM IST.

For viewers in India, the live telecast of the match will be available on the Sony Sports Network. Live streaming will be available on the FanCode app and website, as well as on the SonyLiv app and website.

India has displayed dominant form in the series thus far. In the first T20I at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, India secured a massive 97-run victory, marking one of their biggest wins in the format. Smriti Mandhana's impressive 112 runs off 62 balls, which included 15 boundaries and three sixes, set the tone for the series. Shree Charani's 4 wickets, supported by Radha Yadav and Deepti Sharma with 2 wickets each, led to England's collapse to 113 runs in 14.5 overs.

In the second T20I at the County Ground in Bristol, India defeated England by 24 runs. Batting first, the Women in Blue posted 181 runs. Jemimah Rodrigues and Amanjot Kaur both scored half-centuries, while Richa Ghosh added an explosive cameo to bolster the innings. Despite Tammy Beaumont's 54 runs off 35 balls and Amy Jones' valuable contribution, England's top order struggled, and the hosts fell short, managing only 157/7 in their 20 overs. Amanjot Kaur was named Player of the Match for her unbeaten 63 runs and a wicket.

The Kennington Oval is known to be an excellent venue for scoring runs, with a quick outfield and consistent bounce. While fast bowlers may find some assistance early in the game, the ball is expected to come onto the bat well as the match progresses. In the last 20 T20Is at this venue, the team batting second has won nine matches, while the team batting first has won ten, with one match having no result.

With a 2-0 lead, India is in a strong position to seal the series. The team's confidence and adaptation to English conditions are crucial factors, especially with the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 being held in England. Historically, India has struggled against England in T20Is, but this series indicates a shift in momentum. The team's consistent performance with both bat and ball, along with sharper fielding and tactical discipline under Harmanpreet Kaur's leadership, has been key to their success.
