Apoorva Mukhija, also known as "The Rebel Kid," has recently responded to criticism from Sudhanshu Pandey, her co-star on the reality show The Traitors. Mukhija has accused Pandey of misogyny and highlighted what she perceives as his excessive focus on her in post-show interviews.

Mukhija's reaction comes after Pandey's remarks about her behavior and language on The Traitors, particularly concerning her interactions with veteran actor Ashish Vidyarthi. Pandey had criticized Mukhija for what he deemed a disrespectful tone when referring to Vidyarthi, questioning whether such behavior was representative of Gen Z. He expressed disappointment in the younger generation's perceived lack of respect for elders and the use of abusive language, stating that it diminishes their positive qualities. He also said that using abusive language as a younger person makes you seem 'cool'.

Mukhija, in response, has stated that Pandey has spoken about her extensively outside of the show, even more than he participated during the actual filming. She pointed out that in his interviews, Pandey has repeatedly drawn distinctions between men and women, which she believes stems from misogyny rather than genuine concern for morality. "Sudhanshu ji has given 8 interviews till now. 80% of that he talks about me". She also noted that Pandey used abusive language himself in the final episodes of The Traitors.

Mukhija also addressed Pandey's comments about her language and morality. She revealed that she has apologized to him multiple times via WhatsApp, expressing her regret if he felt offended by her behavior. However, she also criticized what she sees as his moral policing, especially since she has already apologized to both him and another co-star, Ashish Vidyarthi.

Furthermore, Mukhija addressed Pandey's remarks, where he allegedly referred to her as his child. She said that he could have texted her privately about his concerns.

The controversy has sparked discussions about generational differences, respect, and the use of language in the entertainment industry. Some viewers have supported Pandey's views, agreeing that respect for seniors is essential. Others have sided with Mukhija, arguing that Pandey's criticism is excessive and possibly misogynistic.

Mukhija, meanwhile, stated that her goal wasn't to be understood during the show, but to catch a traitor and be entertaining. She added that she was being dramatic and doesn't care if people misunderstand her because they are not paying her bills.

The Traitors, hosted by Karan Johar, features a mix of celebrities and social media personalities competing in a game of deceit and strategy. The show has already been marked by several conflicts, including a feud between Mukhija and Uorfi Javed.
