Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) pacer Yash Dayal is facing serious allegations after a Ghaziabad-based woman filed a First Information Report (FIR) against him, accusing him of sexual exploitation under the false pretense of marriage. The FIR was registered at the Indirapuram police station under Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which addresses sexual intercourse achieved through deceptive means, including false promises of marriage. This offense carries a potential punishment of up to ten years in prison and a fine.

The woman, an Indirapuram resident, claimed that Dayal had physically exploited her for five years with the promise of marriage. She initially filed a complaint on June 21 through the Chief Minister's Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS), alleging physical and mental exploitation during their five-year relationship. She stated that Dayal's family had also made false promises to her.

In her complaint, the woman alleged that Dayal repeatedly engaged in physical relations with her, falsely promising marriage and introducing her to his family, who assured her that she would become their daughter-in-law. She also presented evidence such as mobile calls, screenshots, and video calls to support her claims. She further stated that she suffered from depression and attempted suicide due to the mental pain and Dayal's relationships with other women.

Responding to these allegations, Yash Dayal has broken his silence and filed a complaint with the Prayagraj police, seeking an FIR against the woman. Dayal has accused the woman of stealing an iPhone and a laptop and claims she repeatedly borrowed money from him for medical treatment and shopping. He asserts that he possesses evidence to support these claims. Dayal stated that he decided to pursue legal action against the woman after learning about the complaint filed against him with the Ghaziabad police. In his three-page complaint, Dayal has requested that an FIR be filed against the woman and two of her family members, along with several others.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police (Trans-Hindon), Ghaziabad, confirmed that the FIR was lodged after reviewing the evidence submitted by the woman and stated that the police will record the statements of both Dayal and the woman. Police sources indicated that the case was registered against Dayal after he allegedly failed to appear before the police to record his statement, despite being served a notice. The police are currently investigating the matter.
