Rashmika Mandanna is reportedly joining Allu Arjun in director Atlee's upcoming film, tentatively titled AA22xA6. This marks a reunion for the pair, who are known for their on-screen chemistry in the Pushpa franchise.

AA22xA6 is shaping up to be a massive pan-Indian project, with a rumored budget exceeding ₹500 crore. The film is touted as a sci-fi action-fantasy spectacle, blending cutting-edge visual effects with Indian emotions and culture. Allu Arjun is expected to play multiple roles, possibly including a triple role and even an animated version of himself. The storyline may explore themes of parallel universes, time travel, and supernatural elements.

Rashmika Mandanna is said to be playing a pivotal role in the film, one of the most daring of her career. A source mentioned that "The dynamics of Rashmika and Allu will be very different from what they shared in Pushpa franchise". She has reportedly completed her look test and body scan in Los Angeles for the film.

The cast of AA22xA6 is already impressive, with Deepika Padukone, Mrunal Thakur, and Janhvi Kapoor also reportedly on board. There are reports that the film will feature six leading heroines, with actresses from both South and North India being considered.

Allu Arjun has already begun shooting for the film in Mumbai. Director Atlee has stated that the film will introduce new technology to Indian cinema. Top-tier VFX studios from Hollywood are involved to deliver a visually spectacular experience. There are even rumors that Will Smith is in talks to play the antagonist in the film.

AA22xA6 is produced by Sun Pictures, with music composed by Sai Abhyankar. The film is expected to be released in late 2026 or early 2027.
