The highly anticipated trailer for Ajay Devgn's Son of Sardaar 2 is expected to launch on July 11th at a grand event in Mumbai, with the entire cast present. A new poster has already been released, generating considerable excitement among fans. The film itself is slated to hit theaters on July 25, 2025.
Son of Sardaar 2 is directed by Vijay Kumar Arora and produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, N R Pachisia, and Pravin Talreja. It is a spiritual sequel to the 2012 film Son of Sardaar. In the new poster, Ajay Devgn is seen reprising his role as Jaswinder "Jassi" Singh Randhawa, sporting a yellow turban and a black leather jacket while standing atop two military tanks. The poster is captioned "The Return of the Sardaar".
While the full plot details are still under wraps, the film is expected to be an action-comedy with a blend of family drama. Son of Sardaar 2 sees Jassi return, this time chasing love in Scotland, where he becomes entangled in a hostage crisis, a mafia war, and a bizarre wedding. The original Son of Sardaar (2012) was a remake of the Telugu film Maryada Ramanna (2010) and revolved around a family feud.
The cast includes Ajay Devgn, Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, and Sanjay Mishra. Other cast members include Sanjay Dutt, Chunky Panday, Neeru Bajwa, Kubbra Sait, Vindu Dara Singh, Mukul Dev, Sharat Saxena, Ashwini Kalsekar, Roshni Walia, and Sahil Mehta. Sanjay Dutt, who appeared in the first film, is also expected to be part of the sequel. The late Mukul Dev, who plays Tony in the film, will also be seen.
