The upcoming season of the popular Amazon Prime Video series "Panchayat" is generating buzz, and a potential plot twist involving the village elections is at the center of it. Neena Gupta, who plays Manju Devi, the wife of the Pradhan, has added fuel to the fire with a comment suggesting that the script for Season 5 has been leaked.

During a recent interview with the cast, ahead of the release of Panchayat Season 4, IANS brought up an upcoming twist set to unfold in Season 5. When asked about the likely winner of the village elections, the interviewer speculated that Manju Devi might win but hinted at an unexpected event following the victory. In response, Gupta laughed and exclaimed, "The script has been leaked! Get ready for the next season—the script has already leaked!".

Gupta's remark, whether a joke or a genuine slip, has ignited speculation among fans about the potential plot twists in the upcoming season. The series has already delved into the political landscape of Phulera, with Season 4 exploring the rivalry between Pradhan Ji and Bhushan, and the upcoming elections are expected to be a key focus.

Adding to the intrigue, writer Chandan Kumar teased four major questions that will be addressed in Season 4, one of them being "Who shot Pradhan Ji?". He hinted that the answers would be revealed with twists and turns, setting the stage for future developments. These questions, along with the election results and the progression of Sachiv Ji's love story with Rinky, have kept fans eagerly anticipating the next season.

The production team has maintained a quick turnaround between seasons. Kumar revealed that the script for Season 4 was already in progress before Season 3 was released. This efficient production timeline suggests that Season 5 is well on its way, and viewers can expect to see the unresolved storylines from Season 4 addressed.

"Panchayat" has resonated with audiences due to its relatable characters, humor, and authentic portrayal of rural life. The series features Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, and Sanvikaa, who are expected to reprise their roles in Season 5.

As fans eagerly await the new season, Neena Gupta's comment has only heightened the anticipation. The possibility of an election plot twist, combined with the existing cliffhangers, promises a season filled with drama and unexpected turns. Whether Manju Devi wins the election, what happens with Sachiv and Rinky, and the mystery surrounding Pradhan Ji's shooting all remain to be seen, but one thing is certain: "Panchayat" Season 5 is poised to be another exciting chapter in the Phulera saga.
