Justin Bieber has officially announced his seventh studio album, titled 'Swag,' set to release on July 11, 2025. This marks his first full-length project since 2021's "Justice" and his gospel-inspired EP, "Freedom".
The announcement was teased through billboards appearing in various cities around the world, including Times Square in New York, Los Angeles and Reykjavík, Iceland, where Bieber reportedly spent time recording. The Times Square billboard revealed a 20-song tracklist, featuring titles like "Daisies," "Yukon," "405," "Forgiveness," and "Walking Away". The album is expected to feature guest appearances from rappers Gunna, Sexyy Red, and Cash Cobain.
Bieber also shared images on his Instagram, including high-quality versions of the billboard images and personal photos with his wife, Hailey Bieber, and their child.
In the lead-up to the album's release, Bieber reportedly held jam sessions at his Los Angeles home with artists like Carter Lang, Eddie Benjamin, and DJ Tay James. The album cover and promotional art include photos of Bieber with Hailey and their son, Jack Blues Bieber, suggesting family was a major inspiration. Based on the track titles, the album may explore themes of mental health ("Therapy Session"), fatherhood ("Dadz Love"), and his relationship with Hailey ("Devotion," "Forgiveness," "Things You Do").
Adding fuel to the fire, Hailey Bieber has responded to ongoing divorce rumors with a fiery message. In an Instagram story, she reposted Justin's album tracklist announcement with a sassy caption: “Is it finally clocking to you fucking losers?”. This comes amidst months of speculation about the couple's marriage.
Rumors intensified after Hailey was spotted without her wedding ring in New York City. Social media users have scrutinized their interactions, and tabloids have suggested that Justin's "erratic behavior" is causing stress in the marriage. Some reports even claimed Hailey was feeling "emotionally drained" from caring for Justin and their son.
However, both Justin and Hailey have publicly denied the divorce rumors. In a Vogue cover story, Justin stated that marrying Hailey was "the smartest thing I've ever done," while Hailey expressed frustration with the constant speculation. She noted how difficult it can be to express herself amidst the scrutiny, stating, "I've been in a position where I've tried to tell my side of a story or correct a narrative or tell the truth of a lie and then they go, Well, she's lying. Imagine how trapping that feels". She also added, “So I guess these b—— are going to be mad".
