Several companies announced their Q1 results today, July 14, 2025. Here's a summary of the key highlights from some of the major announcements:

HCLTech

HCL Technologies (HCLTech) is expected to reveal a muted performance for Q1FY26, potentially experiencing a sequential revenue decline due to seasonal factors in the IT services sector. Analysts anticipate this softness might be intensified by weak demand and ongoing tariff uncertainties.

  • A Bloomberg survey of analysts anticipates a 1% decrease in net profit, estimating it at ₹4,258 crore, with flat revenue at ₹30,287 crore.
  • The Earnings Before Interest and Taxes (EBIT) is projected to be ₹5,286 crore, with a margin of 17.45%.
  • Nomura analysts foresee a 1.5% quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) revenue decrease in constant currency (CC). They attribute this to a seasonally weak quarter for products and stable services. However, a cross-currency tailwind of approximately 214 basis points is expected to partially offset the decline when measured in USD.
  • Motilal Oswal Financial Services anticipates a 7.2% year-over-year (YoY) revenue increase but a slight sequential decline.
  • Phillip Capital expects revenue to increase by 8.7% YoY and 0.8% QoQ.
  • Kotak Institutional Equities projects a 0.8% decline in CC revenue due to seasonal weakness in the IT Services business.
  • HCLTech's Q4FY25 performance showed a profit growth of 8.05% at ₹4,307 crore, compared to ₹3,986 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Revenue from operations was ₹30,246 crore, a growth of 6.13%.
  • HCLTech revised its FY26 revenue growth guidance to between 2.0-5.0% YoY in CC terms.

Tata Technologies

Tata Technologies, a Tata Group company, is also set to announce its Q1 results.

  • Estimates suggest a net profit of ₹157 crore and revenue of ₹1,208.39 crore for the first quarter.
  • The company's EBIT is expected to be ₹171 crore, with a margin of 14.15%.
  • Kotak Institutional Equities anticipates a 7.3% QoQ decline in CC revenue for the services segment and an 8.3% overall decline. They cite moderating investments by anchor clients as a reason.
  • Prabhudas Lilladher expects a 3.8% QoQ CC revenue decline in the Services segment and a 5.7% QoQ CC decline overall, attributing it to continued weakness in the automotive segment and weakness in the Tech solutions business.

Ola Electric

Ola Electric Mobility Ltd is scheduled to declare its Q1 FY26 earnings. The company's board of directors will convene to review and approve the unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 2025.

  • Ola Electric is expected to post a loss of ₹452 crore, while its revenue is likely to be at ₹735 crore. The electric auto company's EBITDA loss is likely to expand to ₹287 crore.
  • Kotak Institutional Equities estimates an adjusted net loss of ₹459 crore in Q1FY26. They project revenue at ₹685 crore, a 58% YoY decline and a 27% sequential decline.
  • Volumes are expected to fall 52% to 60,000 units YoY and decline 20% over the previous quarter.
  • The Q4 FY25 results revealed a consolidated revenue decline of 61.7% to ₹611 crore. The net loss stood at ₹870 crore, compared to ₹416 crore in Q4 FY24.

NELCO

Tata Group stock Nelco, a satellite communications provider, will announce its Q1FY26 results on July 14, 2025. Investors will be looking for a turnaround after a Q4FY25 loss of ₹4.08 crore and a 17.27% YoY revenue drop to ₹67.52 crore.

Essar India

Esaar (India) is scheduled to declare its results today.

GTPL Hathway

GTPL Hathway reported a 26.10% decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 10.56 crore for Q1 FY26, compared to Rs 14.29 crore in Q1 FY25. However, revenue from operations rose 7.15% YoY to Rs 903.69 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2025.

  • Broadband revenue for Q1 FY26 rose 1% YoY to Rs Rs 135.9 crore. The broadband subscriber base grew by 20,000 YoY, reaching 1.05 million subscribers.
  • Revenue from the Cable TV business grew 7.68% YoY to Rs 747.66 crore.
  • Active cable TV subscribers stood at 9.6 million, with 8.9 million paying customers.
