ASUS has launched the Vivobook 14 (X1407QA) in India, an ultrathin, AI-powered notebook designed for next-generation computing and everyday productivity. The laptop is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Series processor, featuring a 45 TOPS NPU (Neural Processing Unit). This enables on-device AI capabilities, exceptional performance, and extended battery life for mainstream users. It is available for purchase starting July 22 on Flipkart and the ASUS eShop, with a starting price of ₹65,990.
The Vivobook 14 features a 14-inch IPS display with a full-HD+ resolution of 1,920x1,200 pixels, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a 60Hz refresh rate. The screen supports 45% NTSC color gamut and reaches up to 300 nits brightness. It also has TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light emission, ensuring better eye comfort during extended use. The laptop's hinge allows it to lay flat at 180 degrees for flexible use in various settings.
Under the hood, the Vivobook 14 is equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon X (X1-26-100) processor with a peak clock speed of 2.97GHz and an integrated Qualcomm Adreno GPU. The dedicated Hexagon NPU supports AI-based tasks, delivering up to 45 TOPS of AI performance. It comes with 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD.
The Vivobook 14 is designed for portability, weighing 1.49 kg and measuring 1.79 cm thin. It meets MIL-STD 810H military-grade standards, ensuring reliability for everyday use. The laptop has a 50Wh battery that supports 65W fast charging, with a claimed battery life of up to 29 hours during video playback.
For connectivity, the Vivobook 14 includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two USB 4.0 Gen 3 Type-C ports (with power delivery and display support), an HDMI 2.1 TMDS port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also features an ErgoSense keyboard with a dedicated Copilot key, noise reduction, and an ErgoSense touchpad with Smart Gesture. The full-HD IR webcam has a privacy shutter and supports Windows Hello for secure logins. A Microsoft Pluton chip provides additional security.
