A 35-year-old female teacher has been arrested in Navi Mumbai for allegedly engaging in an obscene video call with a Class 10 student. The Koparkhairane police took swift action after the student disclosed the incident to his parents, who then filed a complaint.

According to reports, the teacher allegedly made obscene gestures and engaged in sexually explicit conversation during a video call with the student. The student recorded the interaction on his phone. The incident came to light when the boy's mother discovered the recording on his phone. Upon confronting her son, he revealed that the woman in the video was his teacher. The mother then approached the Koparkhairane police station to file a complaint.

The police have registered a case against the teacher under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Following the complaint, the teacher was promptly arrested and remanded in police custody for one day. Authorities are currently investigating whether the teacher had similar interactions with other students.

The incident has raised concerns about inappropriate online conduct and the safety of minors in digital spaces.
