The Dacoit team also surprised Mrunal with an early birthday celebration on the sets of their film. Adivi shared a video clip of the celebration on his X timeline, captioning it, "Happy Birthday JULIET. Celebrating early on the sets of #DACOIT. @mrunal0801". The video showed Mrunal cutting a cake and sharing it with the crew, visibly touched by the gesture. She expressed her gratitude to the team, saying, "I didn't expect this at all. Mrunal plays a character named Juliet in Dacoit. The film is described as "An explosion of guns and roses… betrayal and trust… and above all, Love and Loss. Witness a wicked FIRE between two EXES". A promotional clip released earlier hinted at a complex relationship between Adivi and Mrunal's characters, with Adivi's character, who appears to be a prisoner, telling Juliet, "I'm here to destroy you".

Dacoit is a pan-Indian action drama directed by Shaneil Deo and features Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. The film also stars Anurag Kashyap, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla. The film is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, with Sunil Narang as the co-producer, and is presented by Annapurna Studios. Dacoit is slated to release on December 25th.
