The romantic comedy "Param Sundari," starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, is generating significant buzz as its release date of August 29, 2025, approaches. Directed by Tushar Jalota and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, the movie promises a captivating love story.

Recently, the film's second song, "Bheegi Saree," was released, quickly gaining traction for its sizzling chemistry between Malhotra and Kapoor. The song, sung by Adnan Sami and Shreya Ghoshal, evokes nostalgia for classic Bollywood rain sequences, with many praising Kapoor's resemblance to Sridevi in "Mr. India". The music is composed by Sachin-Jigar, and the lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Malhotra shared the song on social media, expressing his hope that it would "drench your heart in love".

Prior to "Bheegi Saree," the film's first track, "Pardesiya," sung by Sonu Nigam and Krishnakali, was also well-received. The film's title is inspired by A. R. Rahman's popular song "Param Sundari" from the movie "Mimi," which was also produced by Maddock Films.

"Param Sundari" was officially announced on December 24, 2024, by Maddock Films. The film was initially slated to release on July 25, 2025, but was later postponed to August 29, 2025.
