Krishangi Meshram, an Indian-origin prodigy, has achieved a remarkable feat by becoming one of the youngest solicitors in England and Wales in recent times at the age of 21. This accomplishment marks another milestone in her already impressive academic and professional journey.
Meshram's legal journey began at the young age of 15 when she enrolled at The Open University. Driven by a passion for law, she earned a First Class Honours Degree in Law at just 18 years old. She has also obtained her LPC (Legal Practice Course) and Masters. Krishangi credits her time at The Open University for providing her with the flexibility, accessibility, and unwavering support she needed to pursue her ambitions. She particularly appreciates the guidance of her tutors, who helped her navigate her studies with patience and expertise.
Krishangi acknowledged that studying at a distance with the OU provided her with valuable skills such as self-discipline and organization. During her Year 3 practical modules in Law, Krishangi realized that becoming a lawyer was truly her passion. She obtained a first-class degree in 2022 and attended her graduation ceremony late last year.
Looking ahead, Krishangi is keen to explore the legal dimensions of emerging digital technologies such as fintech, blockchains, and AI. She aspires to contribute her expertise to leading law firms in the UK or UAE. Meshram's achievement has been featured in The Law Society Gazette.
