Following the gunfire incident at his Gurugram residence early Sunday morning, August 17, 2025, YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav has confirmed the safety of his family and himself. The incident, which involved multiple shots fired at his house in Sector 56, Gurugram, occurred around 5:30 am.
According to reports, Elvish Yadav was not present at the residence when the attack took place, having left Haryana for work. However, his family members and the caretaker were inside the house. Fortunately, no one sustained any injuries during the incident. Elvish's father, Ram Avtar Yadav, stated that the family was asleep when they heard the gunshots. He also mentioned that they had not received any prior threats.
CCTV footage revealed that three masked men on a motorbike were involved in the attack. Two of them fired over 25 bullets at the house, including shots fired at the main gate. The police have cordoned off the area and are currently investigating the matter.
The "Bhau gang" has claimed responsibility for the shooting, alleging that Elvish Yadav was promoting betting apps. They are examining the authenticity of the social media post and are investigating the motive and circumstances surrounding the incident. Forensic evidence has been collected from the site, and CCTV footage is being analyzed.
