His nomination is seen by some as potentially signaling significant shifts within India's political arena. He is expected to file his nomination on August 20 and will be felicitated at the NDA parliamentary party meeting.
Radhakrishnan's career includes serving as the Governor of Jharkhand from February 2023 to July 2024. BJP President JP Nadda has expressed hope that opposition parties will support the NDA candidate.
