Paras Kalnawat, known for his roles in shows like "Anupamaa," recently shared his thoughts on the abrupt ending of his latest show, "Parineetii". In an exclusive interview with Zoom/Telly Talk, Kalnawat revealed that the news of the show going off-air came as a shock to everyone involved, including the cast, crew, and fans.

"I recently got to know about the show going off-air. Everyone got to know at the same time," Paras stated. He further added, "Everybody, including us, the fans and the admirers, learnt that the show is going off-air. The last few days are remaining". The final episode of "Parineetii" is scheduled to air on August 24th.

Kalnawat acknowledged the efforts of the fans to keep the show alive. "Kaafi protest chal raha taaki show bana raha hai. Fans are trying their level best to prove that they love the show and want the show to be retained. That's what they want," he shared. Despite the fans' efforts, the show is ending due to dipping TRPs.

The actor expressed his sadness about bidding farewell to the show. "But being an actor, all we can do is while going sabse pyaar banakar aur dil ki baat bolkar jaaye. And that is what I am looking forward to. Jaate waqt, main sabse bohot acche se milte hue aur sabse baat karte hue jaana chahunga," he added. This translates to: "But being an actor, all we can do is leave with love and speak from the heart. That's what I am looking forward to – meeting everyone warmly, talking to them, and saying goodbye properly".

Paras also reflected on how this experience differed from his previous show, "Kundali Bhagya," where the ending was sudden, and he didn't get the chance to say goodbye. "During my last show, we didn't even know it was ending. One day it was just over, and we couldn't meet anyone. But now there's a chance," he explained.

"Parineetii," which premiered in 2022, has been a long-running drama filled with twists and turns. The story revolves around two best friends, Parineet and Neeti, who end up marrying the same man. After a recent time leap, the show shifted its focus to the next generation, featuring Neeti and Pari's daughters, Preet and Nisha. The current storyline centers on Adit and Preet's love story, with Nisha creating obstacles in their path.

Despite the show's ending, loyal fans have expressed how much they will miss the series and are hoping for a satisfying closure for their favorite characters. The makers have confirmed that the show will end with the message that truth always triumphs over lies and betrayal. The entire cast came together on the last day of the shoot to celebrate their journey and share memories.

Paras has been praised for his camaraderie with his co-stars, Anchal Sahu and Pratiksha Honmukhe. Pratiksha Honmukhe, who plays Nisha, expressed her gratitude for the love she received from fans and spoke warmly about her bond with Paras, Tanvi Dogra, and Anchal Sahu.

As "Parineetii" draws to a close, Paras Kalnawat is looking forward to new opportunities. He has built a strong portfolio with shows like "Meri Durga," "Laal Ishq," and "Kaun Hai?". His participation in "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10" also showcased his versatility.
