Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, recently made his directorial debut with the Netflix series, "The Ba***ds Of Bollywood". At the show's preview launch in Mumbai on August 20, 2025, Aryan addressed the audience, expressing his nervousness and seeking their understanding.
During his inaugural speech, Aryan, 27, admitted to feeling anxious about facing the media and audience for the first time. He humorously shared that he had been preparing for the speech for days. "Aaj main bohot nervous hoon kyunki main pehle baar aap sabke saamne stage pe aaya hoon. Aur isiliye main 2 din, 3 raato se main ye speech baar baar lagatar practice kiye jaa raha hoon," he said.
Aryan also joked about having a backup plan in case he faltered. He said he had notes written down, and if those failed, he had his father, Shah Rukh Khan, as a backup. With a touch of humility, he added, "And even after all of this, if something goes wrong, please forgive me. This is my first time". He even bowed down to the audience, seeking their forgiveness for any potential errors in his directorial debut.
The young director emphasized that his primary goal with "The Ba***ds Of Bollywood" is to entertain the audience. He thanked the series' team, acknowledging the numerous takes and retakes involved in its creation. He specifically mentioned and thanked his mother, Gauri Khan, for producing the show and "most importantly, for producing me".
