Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, recently made his directorial debut with the Netflix series, "The Ba***ds Of Bollywood". At the show's preview launch in Mumbai on August 20, 2025, Aryan addressed the audience, expressing his nervousness and seeking their understanding.

During his inaugural speech, Aryan, 27, admitted to feeling anxious about facing the media and audience for the first time. He humorously shared that he had been preparing for the speech for days. "Aaj main bohot nervous hoon kyunki main pehle baar aap sabke saamne stage pe aaya hoon. Aur isiliye main 2 din, 3 raato se main ye speech baar baar lagatar practice kiye jaa raha hoon," he said.

Aryan also joked about having a backup plan in case he faltered. He said he had notes written down, and if those failed, he had his father, Shah Rukh Khan, as a backup. With a touch of humility, he added, "And even after all of this, if something goes wrong, please forgive me. This is my first time". He even bowed down to the audience, seeking their forgiveness for any potential errors in his directorial debut.

The young director emphasized that his primary goal with "The Ba***ds Of Bollywood" is to entertain the audience. He thanked the series' team, acknowledging the numerous takes and retakes involved in its creation. He specifically mentioned and thanked his mother, Gauri Khan, for producing the show and "most importantly, for producing me".

Shah Rukh Khan also shared the first official poster of "The Ba***ds Of Bollywood" on social media. The poster, styled like a classic Bollywood film, features Lakshya confidently posing on a red carpet outside a movie theater. The series is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and explores the lives of dreamers navigating the Hindi film industry, with cameos from top actors.

The preview of "The Ba***ds Of Bollywood" hints at a story exploring the inner workings of the Hindi film industry, including its stars, the making of those stars, hidden stories, celebrations, rumors, and the reality behind it all. The series is headlined by Lakshya Lalwani and Raghav Juyal and features cameos by Salman Khan, Karan Johar, and Ranveer Singh. Bobby Deol, Manish Chaudhary, Sahher Bambba, Manoj Pahwa, Gautami Kapoor, Mona Singh, and Rajat Bedi also appear in key roles.

"The Ba***ds Of Bollywood" is set to premiere on Netflix on September 18. Social media users have reacted positively to the preview, with many praising Aryan Khan's directorial debut. The series promises a fresh take on Bollywood, blending self-aware humor with a high-stakes narrative.
