Triptii Dimri, the actress who garnered nationwide fame after her performance in 'Animal' and is now gearing up for the release of 'Dhadak 2', has expressed her desire to portray legendary actresses Meena Kumari or Madhubala in their biopics. Dimri, known for her arresting screen presence, revealed this aspiration, stating it would be an "honor" to portray such iconic figures on screen.
Dimri's career has seen a significant upswing, especially after her role as Zoya in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal'. The film is a spiritual sequel to the 2018 film 'Dhadak' and is a remake of the Tamil film 'Pariyerum Perumal'. 'Dhadak 2' is slated for release on August 1, 2025.
Apart from 'Dhadak 2', Dimri has a range of projects in the pipeline. She will be reuniting with Ranbir Kapoor in 'Animal Park', which is expected to start filming in 2027. She is also set to star opposite Prabhas in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's upcoming project, 'Spirit'. Additionally, she will be sharing screen space with Shahid Kapoor for the first time in 'Arjun Ustara', directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. Dimri is also roped in to star alongside Madhuri Dixit in an upcoming comedy film reportedly titled 'Ma Behan'. Furthermore, Triptii Dimri will be seen sharing the screen space with Fahadh Faasil in Imtiaz Ali's film.
