The ongoing feud between Urfi Javed and Sufi Motiwala has recently reignited, with Urfi blasting Sufi over his online rants and accusations. The clash, which initially stemmed from derogatory remarks made by Sufi towards Urfi and her sister Dolly Javed, has escalated into a full-blown social media war.
The recent escalation began after Sufi Motiwala criticized Urfi for what he deemed a "stupid narrative" following her appearance on the reality show "The Traitors." Sufi accused Urfi of targeting a younger cast member based on "vibes" and convincing the house to vote him off. He expressed his frustration, stating that no one wanted to talk to him because Urfi disliked him. Sufi also addressed an apology he made for using unnecessary language, seemingly directed at Urfi. Furthermore, Sufi demanded Urfi to stop dragging his name publicly, claiming she started the issue by giving quotes to magazines after he called her designs "half-baked." He also shared a screenshot of a conversation he had with Urfi before their disagreement went public.
Urfi Javed responded to Sufi's accusations by bringing up a past incident where he allegedly sent her an abusive direct message (DM), which she publicly called him out for last year. She also claimed that she deleted her Instagram Stories related to the issue only after Sufi's team, who are from the same agency as her, requested her to do so. Reacting to Sufi's comments about her sister Dolly, Urfi defended her sister's right to have her own opinion. She then strongly criticized Sufi, pointing out what she saw as hypocritical behavior. She highlighted Sufi's alleged abusive language towards her on national television, questioning his right to judge and verbally abuse others while being offended when faced with similar behavior. She exclaimed, "Ye aadmi poori duniya ko bole, judge kare, gaali de, koi inhe palat k bol de toh problem hai!" which translates to "This man can speak to the whole world, judge, and curse, but if someone responds in kind, there's a problem!".
Adding fuel to the fire, Urfi addressed Sufi's comment about the "youngest cast member," sarcastically questioning why he participated in the show if age was such a concern. She also stated that, like him, she has also faced scrutiny on the internet and can share a 1000 screenshots of death and rape threats, but that she doesn't play the victim card.
This isn't the first time Urfi Javed and Sufi Motiwala have clashed. Last year, Urfi exposed a "disgusting" DM she received from Sufi, which sparked widespread discussion online. Following this, Sufi claimed his account was hacked and begged Urfi for a chance to clarify, fearing he would be "ruined." He insisted he didn't send the message intentionally and doesn't use such language. Urfi, however, dismissed his explanation, questioning how he could regain access to his account so quickly if it had indeed been hacked.
The ongoing conflict highlights the complexities of social media interactions and the importance of accountability for online behavior. It remains to be seen whether Urfi Javed and Sufi Motiwala will be able to resolve their differences or if their public feud will continue to escalate.
