How to Claim Prizes
To claim prize money, winners must surrender their winning tickets within 90 days of the draw date, along with necessary documents. For prizes up to ₹1 Lakh, claims can be made at the District Lottery Offices concerned. For prizes exceeding ₹1 Lakh, the winning tickets must be surrendered before the Director of State Lotteries with the following documents:
- A claim application with a self-attested photocopy of both sides of the ticket.
- Two passport-size photographs attested by a Gazetted Officer/Notary.
- A receipt for the prize money in the prescribed form, with a revenue stamp worth ₹1 affixed with the prize winner's full address.
- If the prize winner is a minor, a Guardianship certificate from a competent authority is required.
- In the case of joint claims, one prize-winner should be authorized to receive the prize money, accompanied by a 'Joint Declaration' on stamp paper worth ₹50.
- Self-attested copies of the PAN Card.
Valid identity proof such as a PAN card, Aadhaar card, voter ID, or ration card is also required.
Kerala lottery prize winners can collect their winnings from any lottery shop in Kerala if the prize money is less than ₹5000. If the amount exceeds ₹5000, the tickets must be surrendered to a bank or government lottery office with valid identification for the claim.
