On what would have been the 62nd birthday of the late actress Sridevi, her daughter, Khushi Kapoor, shared unseen, heartwarming photos on social media, evoking nostalgia and touching the hearts of fans. Sridevi, who was born on August 13, 1963, would have celebrated her 62nd birthday today.

Khushi Kapoor posted a series of childhood images that captured the special bond she shared with her mother. One of the images shows Sridevi beaming with joy as she looks at a young Khushi. Another photo is a selfie from one of their trips, and the last picture shows Khushi hugging her mother. These visuals deeply moved fans, prompting them to reflect on the legendary actress.

Khushi wasn't the only one who remembered Sridevi on her birthday. Boney Kapoor, Sridevi's husband, also shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, reminiscing about a past birthday celebration. He posted a vintage photograph from Sridevi's 27th birthday party in Chennai in 1990, where she is giving him a playful look. Boney humorously recalled how he had wished her a "Happy 26th Birthday" to make her feel younger, but she thought he was teasing her. He captioned the photo, "Yesssss You are not 62 today. You are 26. Happy birthday we are still reliving all your happy birthdays".

Sridevi, often regarded as Indian cinema's first female superstar, began her film journey at the tender age of four. She appeared as a child artist in the Tamil film "Kandhan Karunai". Her Bollywood debut was in the film "Rani Mera Naam" when she was just nine years old. However, she gained real recognition in 1983 with the movie "Himmatwala".

Sridevi dominated the 80s and 90s, starring in numerous films where the plot revolved around her. She acted in almost 300 films, delivering memorable performances in movies such as "Chandni", "Lamhe", "Nagina", "Chaalbaaz", "Sadma", "Mr. India", "Khuda Gawah", and "Judaai". Sridevi was the first Bollywood actress to receive Rs 1 crore for a film. She received the Padma Shri in 2013, several Filmfare Awards, and a posthumous National Film Award for her role in "Mom".

Sridevi passed away on February 24, 2018, in Dubai, due to accidental drowning, leaving the nation and her fans in shock. She was there to attend a family wedding. Her last film appearance was in "Zero". Sridevi's legacy continues through her daughters, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, who often share rare photos and tributes to honor her memory on special occasions.
