Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the World Leaders Forum (WLF) in 2025, outlining his vision for India's future and its role on the global stage. A central theme of his speech was India's potential to achieve a $10 trillion economy through reforms, innovation, and global partnerships.

Modi emphasized India's capacity to adapt and innovate, stating that the nation views every crisis as an opportunity. He highlighted the importance of self-reliance (Atmanirbharta), noting that global cooperation and national aspirations should go hand in hand. He noted that his government is committed to reforms. According to Modi, these reforms are not driven by compulsion or crisis, but by conviction.

A key focus of Modi's address was India's strength in digital transformation, manufacturing, and green energy. He stressed the importance of digital transformation, entrepreneurship, and inclusive growth in shaping India's economic future and solidifying its position as a global powerhouse. Modi also spoke about India's achievements in the space sector, noting the progress made since 2014 and the country's ambition to explore the possibilities of space in the 21st century.

In his speech, Modi referenced "Operation Sindoor" as an example of decisive leadership and a turning point in how India responds to provocations. Satyan Gajwani, chairman of Times Internet, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing India's preparedness to face future challenges.

Modi also touched upon the importance of water conservation, linking ancient Indian traditions to modern sustainable development goals. Modi marked World Water Day 2025 by emphasizing the critical importance of water conservation. He highlighted the Jal Jeevan Mission's efforts to ensure water security, especially in rural areas. He stressed the cultural and historical significance of water conservation in India. Modi also called for revitalizing traditions that celebrate rivers, suggesting that these festivals can help the present generation understand the importance of water and encourage river cleanliness.

Furthermore, Modi's government is undertaking projects to improve water supply and infrastructure across the country. These initiatives include water supply projects in various regions and the construction of bridges and highways to improve connectivity and reduce congestion.
