Pritam composed the music for Metro… In Dino, creating a soulful soundtrack that has already garnered attention, particularly among younger audiences. Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the lyrics, while Rajesh Shukla, Akiv Ali, and Parichit Paralkar handled cinematography, editing, and production design, respectively.

Critics have given Metro… In Dino generally positive reviews, praising the performances of the cast, its thematic depth, and Pritam's music. However, some critics pointed out issues with the film's pacing and narrative cohesion in the second half. Konkona Sen Sharma is the only actor to return from the original cast of Life in a... Metro. She expressed her excitement about being included in the film, noting that she was thrilled that Anurag Basu remembered her and wanted her in the project.

Aditya Roy Kapur has another project in the works, Rakt Bramhand, an action-fantasy series for Netflix, where he will star alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Sara Ali Khan is also involved in other projects, including an untitled film directed by Deepak Mishra, where she will star alongside Sidharth Malhotra.
