A Patna-bound IndiGo flight was grounded at Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi on Friday afternoon, June 27, 2025, due to suspected deflation in one of its tires.

The IndiGo flight, which originated from Kolkata, was scheduled to fly to Patna and then to Lucknow. According to an airport official, the grounding was a precautionary measure taken for safety reasons.

Airport Director RR Maurya stated that after the flight landed in Ranchi, the pilot suspected that one of the front tires might be deflated and requested an inspection. As a result, the flight was grounded.
