If the collaboration materializes, this will be Devgn's first horror-comedy film. While he has starred in comedies like the "Golmaal" series and horror films like "Bhoot" and "Shaitaan", this project would blend both genres.

JP Thuminad gained recognition for his directorial debut, "Su From So". The film, made on a small budget, became a blockbuster, earning critical acclaim and commercial success. Its humor, local flavor, and blend of horror and comedy were praised, and the film earned approximately ₹100 crore.

Ajay Devgn has a busy schedule. He is currently working on "Ranger" and is scheduled to begin shooting for "Drishyam 3" in October, followed by "Golmaal Five" in January. The horror-comedy with JP Thuminad is expected to begin filming in the first half of 2026.
