In Moga, Punjab, a bank manager narrowly escaped a violent attack by three masked men at his residence in Daudhar village. The incident, which occurred on Sunday night, was captured on CCTV, revealing the assailants' brazen attempt to harm the Punjab National Bank (PNB) manager.
According to reports, the bank manager, identified as Rinku, resides alone in a rented house near the bank. The CCTV footage shows three masked men arriving in a white car without license plates. One of the men knocks on the door, and as the manager opens it, the assailants forcefully drag him outside and begin attacking him with sticks.
The video shows the manager, dressed in a vest and shorts, attempting to defend himself and close the door while the masked men continue their assault. Despite being struck, the manager manages to shut the gate, preventing the attackers from further harming him. The assailants then unsuccessfully try to force the door open before fleeing in their vehicle.
Local police have registered a case and initiated an investigation based on the CCTV footage. Authorities have assured that efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the culprits. Preliminary reports indicate that the bank manager is originally from Uttar Pradesh and is currently posted in Punjab. The motive behind the attack remains unclear.
