Several Bollywood personalities have expressed their solidarity with Punjab. Sidharth Malhotra shared his concern on X, expressing his heartfelt support for everyone affected by the floods in Punjab and praying for their strength, safety, and relief.
Beyond expressing concern, several celebrities are taking action to provide tangible assistance. The floods have caused widespread devastation, claiming lives and displacing more than 2.56 lakh people across 12 districts. Villages remain submerged, and families have been left homeless. The overflowing Beas and Ravi rivers have caused some of the worst flooding in Punjab since 1988.
The support from Bollywood and other celebrities is providing a morale boost to the flood-affected communities and helping to mobilize resources for relief and recovery efforts.
