Shweta Tiwari recently shared a heartwarming anecdote about Tamannaah Bhatia's supportive gesture on the sets of their upcoming Prime Video series, 'Do You Wanna Partner'. The series is set to premiere on September 12, 2025, and also stars Diana Penty, Jaaved Jaaferi, Nakuul Mehta, Neeraj Kabi, Sufi Motiwala, and Rannvijay Singha.

Tiwari, known for her grace and strength in her performances, revealed that 'Do You Wanna Partner' pushed her into new territory. While she has played fierce leads and emotional characters in the past, the role of Laila required a rawness she hadn't explored before.

During filming, one particular scene proved challenging for Tiwari, requiring her to deliver a "gaali" (a Hindi curse word) to bring authenticity to the character. The moment left her shaken and unsure, but Bhatia stepped in to offer support. Tiwari recalled how Bhatia held her hand and started shouting the curse word out loud with her, encouraging her to let go and feel the moment. Bhatia kept saying, "Say it, ma'am, say it!". Tiwari expressed her gratitude, emphasizing that Bhatia's gesture was not something she was obligated to do, making it all the more special. She stated that this moment of "pure support and sisterhood" is one she will never forget.

'Do You Wanna Partner' is a comedy-drama series that explores female entrepreneurship, friendship, and resourcefulness. The show revolves around two friends, Shikha and Anahita, played by Bhatia and Penty, who launch a craft beer startup named Jugaaro in a male-dominated industry. They face challenges including skeptical families, investors, and bureaucracy. To overcome these obstacles, they decide to invent a fictitious male partner to smooth their way, leading to a series of adventures and misadventures.

The series is produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, with Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Adar Poonawalla as producers. Archit Kumar and Collin D'Cunha serve as directors, and the writing team includes Nandini Gupta, Aarsh Vora, and Mithun Gangopadhyay.

The trailer for 'Do You Wanna Partner' was launched on August 29, 2025, with the event attended by the lead actors and crew. The series will be available on Amazon Prime Video in India and more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Bhatia has also spoken highly of Tiwari and her other co-stars. She mentioned that she and Tiwari are working on another project together after 'Do You Wanna Partner' and that they had instant chemistry from the moment they were on screen together. She also praised Nakuul Mehta's performance and the directors Archit Kumar and Collin D'Cunha for their ability to bring out the best in the actors.
