Jasveen Sangha, dubbed the "Ketamine Queen," has pleaded guilty to federal drug charges related to the death of actor Matthew Perry. The 42-year-old, a dual citizen of the U.S. and the U.K., appeared in a Los Angeles federal court on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, and admitted to supplying the ketamine that led to Perry's fatal overdose in October 2023.

Sangha's guilty plea comes after a sweeping investigation into Perry's death. The actor, known for his role as Chandler Bing on the hit sitcom "Friends," was found unresponsive in his hot tub at his Los Angeles home on October 28, 2023. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner determined his cause of death to be the acute effects of ketamine, with drowning, coronary artery disease, and the effects of buprenorphine as contributing factors.

Perry had been using ketamine as a treatment for depression. However, he sought more of the drug than his doctor prescribed, leading him to Sangha through an acquaintance, Erik Fleming. Fleming, along with Perry's live-in personal assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, and two doctors, were also charged in connection with the case. All five individuals have now pleaded guilty.

In August 2024, indictments and charges were filed against five people: Perry's personal assistant, two doctors, and two drug dealers, alleging involvement in the distribution of ketamine that caused the death of Perry and one other person.

Sangha's plea agreement includes admitting to maintaining a drug-involved premises, three counts of distribution of ketamine, and one count of distribution of ketamine resulting in death or serious bodily injury. She also acknowledged selling four vials of ketamine to Cody McLaury in August 2019, who died hours later from an overdose. Authorities found methamphetamine, ketamine, Ecstasy, counterfeit Xanax pills, cocaine, and other drug trafficking items, and $5,723 in cash during a search of her home in 2023.

Prosecutors claim that after learning about Perry's death, Sangha and one of Perry's doctors discussed how they planned to distance themselves from the situation and delete text communications between each other.

Sentencing is scheduled for December 10, 2025, where Sangha could face up to 65 years in prison and a $2.5 million restitution payment. Prosecutors have stated they will seek a lesser sentence than the maximum.

Perry's mother, Suzanne Perry, and stepfather, Keith Morrison, were present in the courtroom for Sangha's guilty plea. This was their first time attending court proceedings since the indictments were announced a year ago.
