The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards are set to take place on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the Peacock Theater in L.A. Live, Los Angeles. The ceremony will celebrate the best in American prime time television programming from June 1, 2024, to May 31, 2025, as chosen by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
How to Watch Live
The 2025 Emmys will be broadcast live on CBS and available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+. However, live streaming access is limited to Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers, who can stream via the live feed of their local CBS affiliate. Paramount+ Essential subscribers can stream the telecast on demand from Monday, September 15, through September 21.
Several pre-show festivities will lead up to the main event. E! is airing a programming block from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. PT, starting with "Live From E! Countdown to the Emmys," hosted by Bresha Webb, Christian Siriano, Zanna Roberts Rassi, and Melissa Peterman. This will be followed by "Live From E!: Emmys," hosted by Heather McMahan and Zuri Hall. Entertainment Tonight is hosting "ET: Live on the Emmys Red Carpet" on CBS and Paramount+ starting at 4 p.m. PT, with Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner as hosts. People and Entertainment Weekly will also livestream nominee arrival interviews and commentary on their websites and social platforms from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. PT, hosted by Janine Rubenstein, Patrick Gomez, Gerrad Hall, and Bronwyn Newport.
