A tragic incident occurred in the Kumuram Bheem Asifabad district of Telangana on Saturday, September 13, 2025, when a woman and three children drowned in a rivulet. Local police confirmed the devastating news.
The woman had been working in a nearby cotton field, applying urea, and went to the rivulet to wash the empty bags. Her son and two other children, who were relatives, accompanied her and began playing in the water. Sadly, their play turned deadly when the children began to drown.
In a desperate attempt to save the children, the woman also fell victim to the strong currents. Tragically, there was no one nearby to help, and all four lives were lost.
