The upcoming film AA22xA6, directed by Atlee and starring Allu Arjun, is generating significant buzz, and the latest reports suggest that Deepika Padukone is expected to join the cast for the Abu Dhabi shooting schedule. Following a 50-day schedule in Mumbai, the team is gearing up to film high-octane action sequences in the red dunes of the Liwa Oasis in Abu Dhabi in October.

Deepika Padukone has reportedly blocked nearly 100 days for the film, with her schedule expected to begin in November 2025. Her presence will complete the "powerhouse trio" of Atlee, Allu Arjun, and Deepika, solidifying the film as one of the most anticipated collaborations.

AA22xA6 is touted to be a VFX-heavy sci-fi action thriller. Atlee is working with 15 writers from across India for storyboarding and creative input. He is also consulting with VFX firms and scouting marketing agencies to promote the film. The film is being produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner. Sai Abhyankar is composing the music.

Allu Arjun will reportedly play four roles in the film, spanning different generations of the same family.

In addition to Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone, the film may feature Rashmika Mandanna, Mrunal Thakur, Janhvi Kapoor, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, and Kovai Sarala. There were also reports that Will Smith may play the antagonist.

Atlee has called AA22xA6 his "dream project". The film is reportedly being mounted on a budget of Rs 600-800 crore, potentially making it the most expensive Indian film ever made.

AA22xA6 is expected to be released in late 2026 or early 2027.
