A Teen's Risky Afghan Escape: Hiding in Landing Gear for Delhi Dream, Ends in Deportation.

A 13-year-old Afghan boy's "curiosity" led him on a perilous journey from Kabul to Delhi, concealed in the landing gear compartment of an aircraft. The incident occurred on Sunday when KAM Airlines flight number RQ-4401 arrived at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport around 11 am, after a two-hour flight.

Upon arrival, airline authorities noticed the teenager wandering near the plane and alerted airport security. The boy, a native of Kunduz city, was taken into custody by the Central Industrial Security Force personnel and brought to Terminal 3 for questioning. He confessed to sneaking into Kabul airport and managing to hide inside the rear central landing gear compartment of the aircraft. He stated that he did it out of curiosity.

The teenager's adventure was short-lived, as he was repatriated to Afghanistan on the same flight later that day. The flight departed around 12:30 pm. Security officials from KAM airlines conducted a thorough security check of the landing gear compartment and found a small, red-colored speaker, apparently brought by the boy. Following the inspection and anti-sabotage checks, the aircraft was declared safe.
