Sahher Bambba, who stars in Aryan Khan's directorial debut "The Ba***ds of Bollywood," has been vocal in her praise for the young director, drawing parallels between him and his superstar father, Shah Rukh Khan. Bambba, who plays Karishma Talwar in the Netflix series, described Aryan as "chivalrous and hard-working," echoing sentiments often associated with SRK.

In an interview, Sahher recalled Aryan's chivalrous gesture after a party at Mannat, stating how similar he is to his father, Shah Rukh Khan. She recounted an instance where, as she was leaving a party at Mannat, Aryan excused himself from a conversation to personally escort her to her car and wait until she drove off safely. She said, "He was talking to some people, excused himself, and dropped me to my car. He went all the way out and waited till my car came".

Beyond his gentlemanly conduct, Sahher also highlighted Aryan's dedication and work ethic on the set of "The Ba***ds of Bollywood". She noted, "He is hardworking; I don't think he has taken a single day off in the last two years". She also praised his attention to detail and clarity of vision as a director. "Even when we were on our 10th take, he would say, 'This was amazing, but let's try something else.' His vocabulary was motivating," Sahher stated. She told another publication that Aryan "was really locked in and present as a director. Honestly, I didn't feel like I was working with somebody new".

Contrary to the perception that Aryan is reserved, Sahher revealed his witty and humorous side. "Aryan is extremely witty. So many times, he would randomly crack us all up by saying something," she shared. She also told another publication that "Very few people know him but he is the funniest person in any room...He is exactly like SRK".

Sahher also shared an anecdote about an impromptu scene with Salman Khan, which wasn't originally in the script. She said that she used to tell Aryan that she hasn't featured in any of the special appearances made by the stars in the show, and that sharing screen space with Salman Khan was quite a "pinch-me moment".

Moreover, Shah Rukh Khan himself has been supportive of Sahher, predicting a bright future for her in the industry. At the teaser launch of "The Ba***ds of Bollywood," SRK praised Sahher's acting and said, "I think you are going to become one of the top actresses in this country". When Sahher playfully asked if she could get a role opposite him, SRK quipped, "Meri umar ke liye tum bahot badi ho! Too old for me," showcasing his signature wit. Sahher also revealed that Shah Rukh Khan has always given her the "sweetest things" as advice and to "always focus, and focus at the right place where you want to head in life".

"The Ba***ds of Bollywood," a satirical take on the Hindi film industry, premiered on Netflix on September 18, 2025. The series stars Bobby Deol, Lakshya Lalwani, Raghav Juyal, and Sahher Bambba, among others.
