Singer Kanwar Grewal posted a video on Instagram from Fortis Hospital, urging fans not to share false and negative rumors. He reassured viewers that Jawanda is receiving excellent medical treatment and showing signs of recovery. The accident occurred near Baddi in Himachal Pradesh while Jawanda was traveling to Shimla on his motorcycle. Reports indicate he lost control of the bike after reportedly being hit by two bulls. He was initially taken to the Civil Hospital, where he was diagnosed with head and spine injuries and suffered a cardiac arrest. He was then transferred to Fortis Hospital in Mohali in critical condition. Upon arrival, he was immediately assessed by emergency and neurosurgery teams and placed on advanced life support.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann visited Jawanda at the hospital and met with his family. He also urged people not to spread rumors about his health on social media. Mann stated that Jawanda's fans worldwide are praying for his recovery and that experts are being consulted. Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu also met with the singer's family at the hospital and prayed for his recovery. Several other political leaders, including Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains and Punjab Congress chief Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, expressed their concern and offered prayers for Jawanda's speedy recovery.
