Kriti Sanon is currently turning heads while shooting for "Cocktail 2" in Sicily, Italy, with behind-the-scenes glimpses revealing her dedication to fitness and her character's look. Directed by Homi Adajania, "Cocktail 2" also stars Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films and written by Luv Ranjan.

Sanon shared moments from the shoot on Instagram, including snapshots of scenic views, gym sessions, and candid moments. One behind-the-scenes photo that went viral showed Sanon alongside Kapoor, Mandanna, and Adajania at what the director playfully called a "pista-themed pool party". Sanon was seen in a bikini top paired with a colorful shirt and a tasseled skirt.

The "Cocktail 2" team has been filming in Sicily since early September. Leaked footage has already teased the drama and romance set to unfold in the sequel. Photos and videos circulating online show Sanon, Kapoor, and Mandanna dressed in summer attire, filming on busy streets and rooftops. One video showed Kapoor and Sanon in a deep conversation on the cobblestone streets.

Sanon also posted a video of Rashmika Mandanna working out, praising her co-star’s dedication to fitness. She playfully teased Mandanna for seemingly "living in the gym".

"Cocktail 2" is described as a fresh take on the vibe of the original 2012 film, rather than a direct continuation. The first "Cocktail" featured Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty. While plot details for the sequel are under wraps, it is expected to blend romance, comedy, and drama against picturesque backdrops in India and Europe. The makers are aiming for a theatrical release in the second half of 2026.

In addition to "Cocktail 2", Kriti Sanon has several other projects in the pipeline. She will be seen in "Tere Ishk Mein" opposite Dhanush, scheduled for release in November 2025. She is also set to star alongside Ranveer Singh in Farhan Akhtar's "Don 3".
