Bigg Boss Kannada Set Sealed Amidst Dhanashree Verma's Regret Over Yuzvendra Chahal Support

"Bigg Boss Kannada's" Set Sealed Due to Environmental Violations

The set of "Bigg Boss Kannada" Season 12 has been sealed by authorities due to violations of environmental regulations. The set, located at Jolly Wood Studios & Adventures in the Bidadi Industrial Area, has been ordered to cease all activities. Contestants currently inside the house will be required to leave the premises. The Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) took this action after discovering that the studio was releasing untreated wastewater into the surrounding environment, posing a risk to the local ecosystem.

A site inspection revealed several concerns regarding waste and sewage management at the studio. Inspectors found that a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) with a 250 KLD capacity was installed but not operational and lacking key drainage links. Solid waste, including plastic cups and paper plates, was not being sorted or documented properly, and there was no clear process for managing waste or operating the STP effectively. Additionally, two large diesel generator sets were running on site, contributing to the pollution.

The KSPCB concluded that the disposal of untreated wastewater violated state and national regulations, requiring urgent corrective measures. The board has ordered an immediate halt to all activities at the "Bigg Boss Kannada" set until the studio complies with environmental laws. The future of the show is now uncertain, pending the studio's ability to meet the specified requirements. The KSPCB has also instructed the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) to cut off power to the premises and directed the police to seize the unit. A member of the KSPCB stated that they were unaware of "Bigg Boss" being filmed at the location and that Vels Studio, the land occupier, lacked the necessary consent for operation.

Dhanashree Verma Expresses Regret Over Supporting Yuzvendra Chahal

Dhanashree Verma, participating in the reality show "Rise and Fall," has expressed regret for supporting her ex-husband, cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, even when he was in the wrong. In a conversation with co-contestant Arbaaz Patel, Verma stated that she had supported Chahal even when he was wrong, a decision she now regrets.

Verma revealed that she could see changes in Chahal's behavior after their engagement and marriage, which occurred shortly after their Roka ceremony. Despite noticing these changes, she gave him multiple chances and her full support. However, she eventually felt that she had given too much and was "done with it". Verma stated that she doesn't want to repeat her past actions of supporting a partner even when they were wrong.

Verma also discussed an incident where she felt hurt by the dislike shown towards her by Nikki Tamboli, Arbaaz Patel's girlfriend. She felt that after standing by Patel, she deserved a thank you from Tamboli. Verma expressed that she had put more effort into the friendship than necessary and wants to step back, as she has justified herself too much. She said that she must have behaved differently for a day or two, but it was for her own safety. Everyone asked her to maintain a distance from Patel. Verma and Chahal divorced in March of this year.
