Kareena Kapoor Reveals Taimur's Disinterest in Acting, Preference for Cookery Classes Instead.

Kareena Kapoor Khan recently shared insights into her son Taimur Ali Khan's interests, revealing that the young star is not inclined towards acting, contrary to what many might expect given his family's Bollywood legacy. In a conversation on Soha Ali Khan's podcast, Kareena discussed Taimur's hobbies and preferences, highlighting his disinterest in drama and the film industry.

According to Kareena, Taimur has consistently shown a preference for activities outside of acting. Whenever faced with the choice of extracurricular activities at school, Taimur has always rejected drama, stating that he doesn't enjoy it. Kareena mentioned that she doesn't push him, as he seems to know his own mind. Instead of following in his parents' footsteps, Taimur has expressed a keen interest in cookery classes, inspired by his father, Saif Ali Khan, who enjoys cooking.

Kareena also revealed that Taimur is largely uninterested in the world of Bollywood. He doesn't recognize or inquire about actors, including his uncle, Ranbir Kapoor. Taimur's fascination lies elsewhere, particularly in the realm of sports. He is a big fan of cricketers like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, and football stars like Lionel Messi. He often asks his mother if she is friends with these sports icons and even requests her to ask them for signed memorabilia, like a bat from Virat Kohli.

This revelation aligns with past instances where Taimur's interest in activities like Taekwondo, farming and arts were mentioned. In 2019, pictures surfaced of Taimur and Kareena taking cooking lessons together in Chandigarh, further illustrating his interest in culinary activities.

Kareena and Saif, who married in 2012, have two sons: Taimur, born in 2016, and Jehangir (Jeh), born in 2021. While both children are often photographed by the paparazzi, Kareena shared an incident where Taimur questioned why he wasn't being photographed after she requested the photographers to give them space. She explained to him that it was because she was famous and he wasn't yet, leading him to declare his intention to become like Lionel Messi or Virat Kohli to gain the same attention. However, Taimur seems to have made peace with the attention and is no longer bothered by it.

Kareena and Saif have always been supportive of their children's choices, allowing them to explore their own interests. Taimur currently attends Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai, where he participates in various co-curricular activities.

While Taimur may not be following the expected path into Bollywood, his parents seem more than happy to encourage his passions, whether they lie in the kitchen or on the sports field.
