Lava Agni 4 is set to launch in India on November 20, 2025, as the successor to the Lava Agni 3 5G. The company has officially confirmed the launch date via its social media handles. The Agni 4 is expected to come with several upgrades over its predecessor.
Design and Display
The Lava Agni 4 is teased to feature a metal design with flat edges. Recent teasers reveal a redesigned back panel featuring a horizontal pill-shaped dual-camera setup. This design confirms the absence of a secondary display, which was a prominent feature of the Agni 3. The phone is expected to be available in Blue and Grey color options.
The device is likely to sport a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Some reports suggest a 1.5K resolution (1260 x 2780 pixels) for sharper visuals. The display is also expected to have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection for durability.
Processor and Performance
Lava has teased that the Agni 4 will be powered by a MediaTek chipset. While the exact processor wasn't initially revealed, the Dimensity logo in the teaser suggests it will be a MediaTek Dimensity chip. Reports indicate that the phone will likely be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC, built on a 4nm process. The device is expected to come with 8GB of RAM and UFS 4.0 onboard storage.
Camera
The Lava Agni 4 is teased to feature a dual rear camera system housed in a horizontal pill-shaped island. The camera setup may include two 50-megapixel sensors. A dual-LED flash is also visible above the camera sensors, with "AGNI" branding in between. The front camera is expected to be a 16MP or 32MP sensor for selfies and video calls.
Battery
A certification listing suggests that the Lava Agni 4 could pack a massive 7,000mAh battery. This would be a significant upgrade from the Lava Agni 3, which has a 5,000mAh battery. The battery is confirmed to be a lithium polymer battery.
Other Features
The Lava Agni 4 is anticipated to run on Android 15. It is also expected to have an in-display fingerprint sensor and AI-powered face unlock for security. Connectivity options may include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The device may also have IP64 certification for protection against dust and water.
Price
While the official pricing is yet to be revealed, the Lava Agni 4 is expected to be priced under Rs. 25,000 in India. Some reports suggest a starting price of around Rs 24,990.
