Veteran actor Dharmendra is currently under close medical observation at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital after being admitted for breathlessness. Initial reports suggested he was in critical condition and on ventilator support, however, his team has stated that he is stable and under observation. The actor, who will turn 90 in December, was admitted to the hospital on November 10, 2025.

News of Dharmendra's hospitalization has prompted an outpouring of concern and well-wishes from fans and fellow members of the film fraternity. Many celebrities, including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan with Aryan Khan, Govinda, Sunny Deol, Esha Deol, Rajveer Deol, Karan Deol, and Tanya Deol, have been spotted visiting him at the hospital.

Amidst the concern, a video surfaced of comedian Bharti Singh, who was approached by paparazzi in Mumbai, expressing her well-wishes for Dharmendra's speedy recovery. In the video, she can be heard saying, "Kuch nahi hone wala unko, dekhiye, ek dum theek ho ke ayenge. Dharam ji hain, Dharam ji! (Nothing will happen to him, he will be back hale and hearty. He is Dharam ji, after all!)" She also requested fans to respect the privacy of the Deol family during this time.

Dharmendra's family has also addressed the public, with Sunny Deol's team issuing a statement requesting that people refrain from spreading false rumors about his health and respect their privacy. The statement affirmed that Dharmendra is stable and under observation, and that further updates would be shared as available. Hema Malini, Dharmendra's wife, also shared an update on X, requesting prayers for his welfare and speedy recovery, and assuring fans that he is being continuously monitored.

Despite his age, Dharmendra has remained active in the film industry, recently appearing in "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani" (2023) and "Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya" (2024). He is also slated to appear in Sriram Raghavan's upcoming war drama "Ikkis". Furthermore, Dharmendra has maintained a commitment to fitness, regularly sharing videos of his workouts and physiotherapy sessions on social media.

Dharmendra is under the care of senior cardiologist Dr. Dev Pahlajani at Breach Candy Hospital. While earlier reports suggested he was on a ventilator, there has been no confirmation from the family regarding this. His family continues to ask for prayers and positive thoughts during his recovery.
