The OnePlus 15 is set to launch in India on November 13, 2025, and a recent leak suggests that the device might come with a higher price tag than its predecessor.
According to a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the base variant of the OnePlus 15, featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, could be priced at Rs. 72,999. The higher-end variant, with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, may cost around Rs. 76,999. These prices are higher than the launch price of the OnePlus 13, which was introduced at Rs. 69,999 and later dropped to Rs. 63,999. However, some analysts anticipate the OnePlus 15 to be priced below Rs. 75,000 in India.
Several factors could contribute to the potential price increase. The OnePlus 15 boasts significant upgrades over its predecessor, including the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a new 1.5K OLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate, and a massive 7,300mAh battery. These enhancements position the OnePlus 15 as a premium flagship device, potentially justifying a higher price.
The Indian model is expected to mirror its Chinese counterpart in terms of specifications. The OnePlus 15 features a 6.78-inch BOE Flexible Oriental OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The display also boasts a peak brightness of up to 1800 nits.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 15 packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, coupled with an Adreno 840 GPU. The device offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
On the rear, the OnePlus 15 sports a triple-camera setup, headlined by a 50MP primary shooter with a wide-angle lens. It also features a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with up to 120x digital zoom and 3.5x optical zoom. For selfies, the device is equipped with a 32MP front camera.
The OnePlus 15 will be available in three colors: Absolute Black, Misty Purple, and Sand Dune. It will run on OxygenOS 16, based on Android 16. The device will launch in India on November 13 at 7:00 p.m. IST, followed by open sales an hour later. It will be available through Amazon, the OnePlus online store, and partner outlets across the country.
While the leaked pricing information suggests that the OnePlus 15 might be more expensive than its predecessor, the device's upgraded features and specifications could justify the higher cost for consumers seeking a top-tier flagship experience.
