Tu Meri Main Tera Box Office: Kartik Aaryan's Film Opens Strong, Earns Impressive Rs 7 Crore on Day One.

Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday's latest film, "Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri," hit theaters on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, and has garnered an estimated ₹7 crore to ₹7.25 crore net in India on its opening day. Despite the holiday release, the film's box office performance is considered mediocre, especially when compared to Kartik Aaryan's previous openers.

Directed by Sameer Vidwans and produced by Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures, "Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri" features a cast including Neena Gupta, Jackie Shroff, Aruna Irani, and Tiku Talsania. The film had an overall Hindi occupancy of 34.56% on its first day, with evening and night shows seeing higher footfalls than morning shows.

"Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri" marks Kartik Aaryan's first collaboration with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions after their fallout during "Dostana 2" and is his only theatrical release in 2025. It also reunites Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday on screen after six years, since "Pati Patni Aur Woh" (2019), which had a better opening of ₹9.1 crore and a lifetime collection of ₹84.5 crore.

The film faces stiff competition from Ranveer Singh's "Dhurandhar" and "Avatar: Fire and Ash". "Dhurandhar," in its third week, has continued its strong performance, earning over ₹20 crore on the same day "Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri" was released and is expected to enter the ₹1000 crore club worldwide soon. "Avatar: Fire and Ash" also saw increased viewership on Christmas Day, collecting ₹13.5 crore. "Dhurandhar" has dominated the box office, resulting in limited screens for "Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri".

Early estimates suggested a slightly higher opening for "Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri," between ₹8 crore and ₹9.50 crore. However, the actual figures have settled around ₹7 crore to ₹7.25 crore. Compared to Kartik Aaryan's other post-COVID releases, "Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri"'s opening is lower than "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" (₹14.11 crore) and "Satyaprem Ki Katha" (₹9.25 crore).

The film needs to perform well in the coming week, but faces a challenge with the release of Sriram Raghavan's "Ikkis" on January 1. "Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri" received mixed reviews, adding to the uncertainty of its box office prospects.
