Following the death of veteran actor Dharmendra on November 24, 2025, his son, Sunny Deol, is expected to address the media for the first time at a special screening of Dharmendra's final film, Ikkis. Sriram Raghavan, the film's director, shared that Dharmendra had the opportunity to watch the first half of Ikkis in October before his health declined. He expressed regret that the veteran actor could not see the completed film and witness the audience's appreciation.
The Deol family has been actively supporting Ikkis, encouraging fans to watch the film in theaters. Producer Dinesh Vijan mentioned that the family, including Dharmendra's wives Prakash Kaur and Hema Malini, and his children, have not yet viewed the film, anticipating it will be an emotional experience.
