Ranveer Singh's "Dhurandhar" has officially entered the ₹1000 crore club, becoming the 9th Indian film to achieve this milestone. The Aditya Dhar-directed spy action drama, which was released on December 5th, has garnered ₹1006.7 crore worldwide.

"Dhurandhar" has been raking in impressive collections since its release, with over ₹200 crore each week. On Christmas Day alone, the movie minted over ₹28 crore. The film's domestic collection stands at ₹789.18 crore, with overseas revenue reaching ₹217.50 crore.

The film stars Ranveer Singh alongside Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, R Madhavan, and Rakesh Bedi. It is produced by Aditya Dhar and his brother Lokesh Dhar under their banner B62 Studios, in collaboration with Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios.

"Dhurandhar"'s success is notable for several reasons. It achieved this feat without a Gulf release and is rated "A". Moreover, it is not a sequel. The film has surpassed the lifetime collection of Rishab Shetty's "Kantara Chapter 1" to become the highest-earning Indian film in 2025. It is also the first Indian film of 2025 to cross the ₹200 crore gross mark in overseas markets, beating Rajinikanth's "Coolie".

Here is a list of the Indian movies that have crossed the ₹1000 crore mark:

  1. Dangal (2016): Aamir Khan's sports drama about wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his daughters, "Dangal," was a monumental success. It became the first Indian film to gross over ₹2000 crore worldwide, with a significant portion of its earnings coming from China.
  2. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017): Directed by S.S. Rajamouli, this Telugu film (with a highly successful Hindi-dubbed version) captivated audiences globally. It grossed over ₹1810 crore worldwide and set records as the highest-grossing Indian film at the time.
  3. Pathaan (2023): Marking Shah Rukh Khan's return to the screen, this action-packed thriller grossed over ₹1000 crore globally within a month of its release. Notably, it achieved this without a release in China.
  4. Jawan (2023): Another Shah Rukh Khan starrer, "Jawan" quickly joined the ₹1000 crore club. It became the fastest Hindi film to reach this milestone worldwide.
  5. K.G.F: Chapter 2 (2022): While originally a Kannada film, "K.G.F: Chapter 2" achieved widespread success across various languages, including its Hindi-dubbed version.
  6. RRR (2022): S.S. Rajamouli's "RRR" also grossed over ₹1000 crore at the global box office.
  7. Kalki 2898 AD (2024): Starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, "Kalki 2898 AD" is one of the Indian films to cross ₹1000 crore mark.
  8. Pushpa 2: The Rule (2024): Starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, "Pushpa 2: The Rule" became the fastest film to enter the ₹1000 crore club in just seven days.
  9. Dhurandhar (2025): The Aditya Dhar-directed spy action becomes the ninth movie to cross the ₹1000 crore mark.

The ₹1000 Crore Club represents a significant benchmark of commercial success and widespread audience appeal in Indian cinema.
