Popular TV actress Chhavi Mittal is mourning the loss of her father, who passed away on November 14, 2025. The actress shared the heartbreaking news on her social media account, accompanied by an emotional note dedicated to her father.

In her tribute, Mittal fondly remembered her father as a "genius," a title she always used when introducing him. She described him as a scientist who left his job to start his own business, inventing various electronic devices and building a foundation for his three children. To her, he was the man who always had answers and never said no. She stated that her intelligence, characteristics, and features came from him. "To the world he may wear many hats, but to me.. he will always be my papa. I'll miss you forever. RIP", she concluded. The actress also shared a couple of pictures with her dad.

Mittal expressed how her father was a constant source of support in her life, whether it was her career choices, her decision to move to Mumbai, or her choice of a partner. She acknowledged his numerous accomplishments, describing him as a gold medalist and an industrialist.

The news of her father's passing comes shortly after Mittal shared an update about her health. Just a day before, on November 13, she posted a video detailing her experience undergoing a breast MRI scan to rule out a possible cancer relapse. Mittal, who is a cancer survivor, had previously battled and overcome cancer in 2023. In the video, she reassured her fans that the results of the scan were normal and that she would need to undergo similar scans next year. She also mentioned that the scare was due to some pre-menstrual hormonal imbalances that had initially created the fear of needing another biopsy.

Chhavi Mittal is married to director Mohit Hussein and they have two children.
