The Boston Fleet defeated the Seattle Torrent by a score of 3-1 on Sunday night, December 21, 2025, propelled by goals from three different players. Daniela Pejšová, Riley Brengman, and Megan Keller each found the back of the net for the Fleet, while Jessie Eldridge scored a late goal for the Torrent.
Pejšová, a second-year defender, started the scoring for Boston at 4:44 into the first period with her first career goal. Alina Müller earned an assist on the play. With only five seconds remaining in the first period, Riley Brengman scored a short-handed goal, increasing Boston's lead to 2-0. Jamie Lee Rattray tallied her fifth assist of the season, and Liz Schepers recorded her first.
Megan Keller extended the Fleet's lead to 3-0 with a power-play goal at 7:16 of the third period. Müller and Susanna Tapani assisted on the goal. Goaltender Abbey Levy, making her first start for Boston, saved 26 of 27 shots. Her shutout bid was spoiled with only 26 seconds left in the game when Jessie Eldridge, a former teammate of Levy's on the New York Sirens, scored her first goal for the Torrent. Aneta Tejralová and Mikyla Grant-Mentis were credited with assists on the play.
Corinne Schroeder made 35 saves for the Torrent. The Seattle power play, which had been a strength in their previous two victories, went 0-for-2 against the Fleet and allowed a shorthanded goal. Seattle rookie forward Jenna Buglioni was injured early in the second period and did not return.
The Fleet were playing the last of five road games in five days. Their five-game winning streak to start the season ended with a 5-2 loss to Minnesota on Friday.
The game was played in front of 11,023 fans at Climate Pledge Arena.
Looking ahead, Boston will be at Ottawa on Saturday, while Seattle hosts Montreal on Tuesday.
