Jaipur, India – The body of an unidentified woman was discovered on Tuesday morning in the Shastri Nagar area of Jaipur. The body was found stuffed in plastic sacks and wrapped in a blanket on the porch of a house.
Police have indicated that there were injury marks on the woman's face, suggesting a possible murder. Authorities were alerted to the scene and are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team is assisting in collecting evidence to help identify the victim and determine the cause of death.
The discovery has prompted a police investigation to determine the identity of the woman and the events leading to her death. As of now, the police are exploring all possible angles to solve the case.
This incident follows other recent cases involving the discovery of bodies in and around Jaipur. In March 2025, the bodies of a young man and woman were found hanging in an abandoned warehouse in Jaipur, with initial investigations suggesting a double suicide. In June 2024, the dismembered body of a woman was found wrapped in a mattress near Mangalam City, with police suspecting rape and murder. In March 2023, a woman's body was found in a suitcase on the Rohtak-Jaipur highway.
